I’ve been a hairdresser for over 35 years, and I still love what I do just as much as when I first started. Owning my own salon is a dream come true, and it gives me the chance to combine creativity with my passion for people. Along the way, I’ve achieved my Level 2 and 3 NVQs, a teaching degree, and an Assessor’s Award, which means I can also share my skills and knowledge with up-and-coming stylists. For me, it’s all about making clients feel great and helping the next generation of hairdressers grow in confidence.
Our 18-week fast-track courses take place at stā studios, right in the heart of London. The venue is a bright and modern creative space just a short walk from key london tube and rail stations.

NVQ Level 2 Ladies Hairdressing
Your Level 2 qualification will fully qualify you as a hairdresser, allowing you to take the next steps in the hair industry. Whether you’re setting up your own salon, looking for full-time employment, or want to progress onto our Level 3 course, let us help you on your journey.

NVQ Level 3 Ladies Hairdressing
This qualification allows you to take the next steps of your career going on teaching/assessing, further qualifications, or expanding your clientele due to being able to offer a wider range of services, learning advanced techniques in depth, and taking your work to the next level.

NVQ Level 2 Mens Barbering
The course concentrates on men’s hairdressing, including various cutting techniques, beard grooming, and client consultation. Completion of the NVQ Level 2 can lead to employment as a junior barber, or even pave the way for starting your own barbershop.
